About MACH 1 Australia Incorporated (MACH 1)
Established in 1976, MACH 1 Australia Incorporated (MACH 1) was an activity therapy centre for people with a disability. Until 1986 a variety of services were offered including training in independent living skills. Since then, the agency has defined its focus and concentrates on employment for people with disabilities.
MACH 1 provides various employment opportunities to over 240 people with a disability through two separate services. These services, or divisions, operate in a flexible and responsive manner as determined by individual needs.
Employment support is offered to people sixteen (16) years of age and above, regardless of their disability/barrier. The organisation supports people by assisting them to obtain and maintain meaningful employment.
MACH 1 works proactively with individuals and families, developing a range of strategies aimed at increasing employment opportunities.

- job search
- individual employment planning
- job interview assistance
- on the job training
- ongoing employment support
